Amanda Berezai

Amanda completed her accountancy training whilst working as an auditor in one of the ‘Big Four’ firms. After qualifying, she moved across to forensic services and now has over 15 years of forensic accounting experience behind her. She has worked on both civil and criminal matters, reporting to internal stakeholders as well as third parties and clients have ranged from individuals and family-owned businesses through to listed multinational groups and across numerous industries.

Based in C. Lewis’ Manchester office, Amanda predominantly works on W&I (Warranty and Indemnity) matters and business interruption claims. Her varied forensic experience includes: 

• W&I claims, including breaches arising from financial statements and management accounts warranties and information/ disclosure warranties.
• Business interruption claims.
• Investigations into employee fraud and accounting irregularities.
• Preparing expert witness reports for Court for varied assignments.
• Preparing reports quantifying direct and consequential losses for companies mis-sold interest rate hedging products by their banks.
• Fraud advisory work.
• Third party reviews.
