Anna Cahill

Director

Anna Cahill joined C. Lewis full-time in August 2023, having previously worked at C. Lewis from 2021 to 2022 on Covid-19 related business interruption claims for SMEs in a variety of industries.

Since joining C Lewis Anna has worked on claim preparations and review, business interruption quantification following denial of access, W&I (Warranty & Indemnity) insurance claims, and civil and HMRC fraud prosecutions.

Anna is a Chartered Accountant with 15 years’ experience, first working at KPMG in New Zealand from 2008 to 2017 specialising in financial & management accounting, and tax. From 2014 onwards Anna has worked as a forensic accountant on a variety of projects in the UK including:

  • The interest rate hedging products redress review following mis-selling by banks
  • A large regulatory bribery & corruption investigation based in France
  • Business valuations in matrimonial, shareholder disputes and commercial disputes
  • Various civil matters including fraud investigations, shareholder and family disputes
  • Assisting in the preparation of expert reports for arbitrations and cases heard in the UK High Court.
