Daniel Tan has over a decade of experience specialising in the investigation and quantification of complex insurance and commercial claims across Asia for leading global insurers. His expertise spans Business Interruption (BI), Delay in Start-Up (DSU/ALOP), Product Recall, Cyber, Stock, Warranty & Indemnity, and Property Damage claims. He has also conducted pre-loss BI reviews, including assessments of sums insured, indemnity period adequacy, and quantification of potential loss scenarios.

Before joining C. Lewis, Daniel held roles with Baker Tilly, Marsh, and RGL Forensics, where he developed deep technical expertise in forensic accounting and complex insurance claim quantification. Earlier in his career, Daniel worked in the oil and gas sector with Accenture in Perth, and as a high-frequency trader in Sydney and Amsterdam – bringing a distinctive blend of analytical rigor, commercial insight, and financial discipline to his forensic work.
